WHAT IS DHA?
DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is an ingredient used in self-tanners.
The DHA molecule can be of plant or synthetic origin. That's products are made from sugarcane, ie 100% natural.
The higher the DHA %, the more intense your tan will be!
The concentration of DHA in self-tanners ranges from 2 to 10%.
The darkness of the tan color given to the skin depends on the DHA % in the product.
To achieve the best result, you need to choose the right product according to your natural skin color.
For fair skin, it is better to choose products with a low DHA concentration (2-4%), for medium-dark skin, medium (5-6%) is best, and for darker or tanned skin, products with the highest DHA concentration (10-14%).
