Returns and Warranty RETURNS

If you want to cancel an order for which you have not yet received the goods, or refuse a certain item(s) from an order that has not yet been fulfilled, but paid for, and get your money back, please contact us by e-mail. by mail: info@kristinabeauty.eu.

Many of our items come with a money back guarantee. If you decide to return the purchased quality product without any reason, you can do so within 14 days. 

Also, you have the right to replace purchased goods of suitable quality with similar goods of different dimensions, shape, color, model or completeness within 14 days from the day of handing over the goods to him, by sending a notification of the desire to exchange goods by e-mail. by post info@kristinabeauty.eu. If a price difference occurs when exchanging goods, we settle with the buyer according to the recalculated prices.

After receiving the goods, we undertake to replace them with the same goods only in the shape, size, color, model or completeness specified by the buyer. If we do not have a product suitable for replacement, we return the money paid for the product to the buyer.

Important: the buyer is responsible for the packaging of the returned product. If the product is incomplete, the seller does not accept the returned product. 

In the event that the delivered product does not meet the quality requirements, we undertake at our own expense to replace the product of inadequate quality with a product of suitable quality or return the money paid for the product in accordance with the established rules. After receiving the returned product and evaluating its quality, within 14 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation of the purchase-sale contract, we return the money for the product to the buyer. If only part of the purchased items are returned, shipping costs are not refunded.

All gifts that were presented together with the purchased item must be returned at the same time.

We remind you: the buyer must pay for the costs of delivery of the goods and the costs of returning the goods, if the goods are returned due to no fault of the Seller, and the Seller, convinced that the goods were returned due to inadequate quality, must reimburse the Buyer for the costs of delivery and return incurred by him, except for the exceptions provided for in the Rules.

If the wrong goods were delivered to the buyer, the Buyer must immediately, but no later than within 7 (seven) working days, inform the Seller about this by e-mail. by post info@kristinabeauty.eu. The seller undertakes to pick up such goods and replace them with suitable goods at his own expense. In case the Seller does not have the ordered goods, he returns the money paid for the goods to the buyer.

Money will not be returned for those goods that have been damaged intentionally or due to negligence by the buyer (affected by chemicals, water, open fire, high temperature, sharp objects, etc.), or if the rules of use or storage of the goods have been violated, or the goods have been used improperly or not in accordance with purpose.

First, contact us by email info@kristinabeauty.eu and inform about the intention to return the product, specify the order number and the invoice. We will send you return information.

We remind you: when returning, it is necessary to present the VAT invoice that was received when purchasing the item/s, or another document confirming the purchase of the item from the seller.

Important: the buyer can exercise the right to return the goods if the deadline for the return of the goods has not been missed, the goods have not been damaged or their appearance has not fundamentally changed, the goods have not been used, the useful properties of the goods have been preserved and the goods have not lost their commercial appearance. All returns must come with original tags, protective bags and original, undamaged packaging. 

After receiving the returned product and evaluating its quality, within 14 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation of the purchase-sale contract, we return the money to the buyer (the price of the product paid by the buyer, the costs of delivery of the product, and in the case when goods of inappropriate quality/the wrong goods were delivered - and return costs). It is not possible to return goods through a postal machine.

If you return an item of incorrect quality:

If you do not have the opportunity to return the product to the office, you can return the product using courier services.

Upon receipt of confirmation that the returned product is of inadequate quality, you will be reimbursed for the costs incurred. Don't forget that you will need to provide supporting documents for the shipping costs, e.g. receipt for services, confirmation of payment information, etc.

If you are returning a quality product:

If you are unable to return the product to the office, you can return the product via the courier service of your choice, standard service charges will apply. If the product is of good quality, such shipping costs are borne by the user.

We remind you: we can also order a courier to collect the product from you. In this case, inform us about it in a letter. If the returned item is of good quality, you will be charged a service fee.

When sending, we invite you to pack the product properly so that it is not damaged during shipping. The product is packed in a box or plastic bag or film. If the item is damaged during shipping, we will not be able to accept it.

Important: the buyer is responsible for the packaging of the returned product. If the product is incomplete, the seller does not accept the returned product.

If you purchased the product online, you have the right, without any reason, to refuse a distance contract or an off-premise contract and return the product within 14 days, with the exception of the exceptions provided for in Article 6.228 of the Civil Code11 in paragraph 2 of the article.

The consumer's right to withdraw from a distance contract and an off-premise contract does not apply to:

  • for goods manufactured according to the specifications specified by the user or clearly adapted to his personal needs;
  • for perishable or short-lived goods;
  • for packaged goods that have been unpacked after delivery and are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons (Cosmetic products are not returnable as we cannot know if the product has not been used, such as lipstick);
  • for goods that are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery due to their nature;
  • for goods purchased with contracts where the consumer has made a specific request to the trader for a visit to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance. If, in the event of such a visit, the trader provides additional services, other than those specifically specified by the user, or supplies additional goods, except for spare parts necessary for maintenance or repair work, such additional services or goods are subject to the right to withdraw from the contract;
  • gift vouchers are not exchangeable or refundable. If the coupon is not used within its validity period, the money is not returned, the validity period of the coupon is not extended.

Important: We note that in the event of a dispute, it is assessed in each specific case whether the user, when testing the goods, performed only such actions as are necessary to determine the nature, properties and functioning of the goods. In this assessment, we compare the user's actions to what is normally allowed in a typical "physical" store. Also, in each specific case of a dispute, we will justify why we require the consumer to compensate this specific amount of the decrease in the value of the product.

When accepting the order from the courier, pay attention to the packaging - if you have any doubts - immediately unpack it.

Mark observed discrepancies in the document of goods transfer - acceptance and, in the presence of the courier, draw up the act.

You can exercise the right to return goods of inadequate quality within the period specified in Article 6.338 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania from the day the goods were handed over to you.

We have the right not to accept the goods returned by the buyer, if the buyer does not follow the established procedure for returning the goods (for example, does not provide a document of purchase and sale of the goods).

If the product was purchased in a beauty studio, you have the right to return the quality product you did not like within 14 days without any reason, except for the exceptions provided in the retail rules.

Retail rules stipulate that goods can be exchanged and returned at the point of purchase. Contact us by email info@kristinabeauty.eu and inform about the intention to return the product.

Please note: the buyer's request to exchange or return items is satisfied if the items have not been used, are undamaged, their usable properties have been preserved, the items have not lost their marketable appearance and the buyer has evidence confirming that he bought the items from a specific seller.

According to the laws approved by the Republic of Lithuania, certain goods cannot be returned:

  • perfumery, cosmetic and toilet preparations;
  • pearls, precious stones, precious metals and articles thereof, excluding artificial costume jewellery;
  • gift vouchers are not exchangeable or refundable. If the coupon is not used within its validity period, the money is not returned, the validity period of the coupon is not extended;

A complete list of goods that cannot be returned can be found in Part 6.228 of CC 10-2.

When picking up the product in stores, check whether it is undamaged, complete and properly packaged.

The Civil Code establishes two types of warranty for items - a statutory warranty that is valid for two years from the date of purchase of the item (Article 6.338 of the Civil Code)

Please note that Article 6.335 2 of the Civil Code stipulates that the warranty period begins to be calculated from the day of the transfer of the items, not from the date of purchase of the items. Part 3 of the same article stipulates that if the buyer cannot use the items for which the quality warranty period is established due to obstacles that depend on the seller, the warranty period is not calculated until the seller removes those obstacles, and part 4 of the article states that the warranty period is extended for such for the time that the buyer could not use the item due to defects, if the buyer properly notified the seller about the observed defects.

In order to exercise the rights set forth in this article, the user must notify the seller of non-compliance with product quality requirements no later than two months from the date of detection of the non-compliance. The onus is on the seller to prove that the consumer has missed this deadline (Article 6.3641, Paragraph 8 of the Civil Code).

Important: it is necessary to have a VAT invoice, which was received when purchasing the product/s, or another document confirming the purchase of the product from the seller

It usually takes about 2 weeks to eliminate faults caused by the fault of the manufacturer, counting from the day of handing over the product to the warranty service. The term of the warranty repair depends on the availability of the warranty service.

If it turns out that the repair requires a part that must be delivered from abroad, the waiting period is extended to 45 days.
